Objective: Comma was hired by a leading global power equipment and transport solutions company that was facing problems due to lack of visibility in media. Background: As the sixth largest energy consumer in the world, India needs new technologies and systems to develop and expand power generation capacity, especially in the hydro segment. Power equipment companies such as this one, derive huge opportunities as India tries to achieve its massive target of additional power. On the other hand the booming transport market in India has opened up, offering vast opportunities to private players. The Mass Rapid Transport Systems (MRTS) is seeing robust growth as dedicated rail freight corridors are being proposed between major cities. The industry is looking at companies having global expertise in transport solutions for fast track and world-class technologies; an area where this company is already a worldwide leader.
Our Role: Comma's role included conceptualizing / implementing various external and internal communications programs. We aggressively worked on many aspects. We helped to strengthening media relations and enhanced the flow of communications to engage with employees. With our help, this leading global power and transport company has been a key participant in industry events. They have also been able to leveraging high profile visits to enhance their reputation. Finally, Comma helped to conceptualize and developing a CSR campaign for the company that has helped them gain better recognition in the industry.
Results: Through various activities advised by Comma, the company has managed to strengthened its communications. It has enabled them to establish its image as an important contributor to India's power reforms while offering its global expertise in metro transport solutions.
